Is the antithesis of your own bigotry right.....?

or is it just an opposing point of view?
Is the antithesis of your own bigotry right.....?
Is the contrast, or opposition, concerning your own thoughts of your own bigotry right? What kind of question is that? You must be a philosophy major, right? Antithesis compared to what? In contrast with whom? The word antithesis defines the answer to your question. Try asking another one, I%26#039;m not impressed.
Is the antithesis of your own bigotry right.....?
Until you can offer a undisputable way of defining what is %26#039;right%26#039; and %26#039;wrong%26#039;, nothing%26#039;s right or wrong. Everyone who has a different opinion just has a different perspective.

He who declares another a bigot shows that he has his own set of prejudices. Effectively, it%26#039;d take a bigot to label another a bigot.
Reply:%26quot;A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their own prejudices.%26quot; - William James
Reply:Not necessarily. I think you%26#039;ve stumbled upon the Golden Mean fallacy. This is when two opposing %26#039;extreme%26#039; positions are taken, and it is decided that because two extremes exist, the %26#039;middle-ground%26#039; must be the correct view.

Take the issue of slavery. Some people wanted blacks to be slaves for ever (one extreme), others wanted them to be free and given the vote and have equal rights (other extreme). The latter position is still the %26#039;right one%26#039;, even though it is an %26#039;extreme%26#039;.
