Don't u think there is lots of joy not just at the destintion but also in the path ?

if u enjoy ur work.. then u dun have to wait to be happy in the end.. u enjoy the path.. the efforts of going to that destination of fulfilling ur dream.

eg. i wish to be a doctor.. and for sure i will be super happy when i will become one, but just now, even while studying for it, i am really enjoying the path, the subjects and the classes.

What d u think ? can u share ur experience ?

tnx for answrig and starring :)
Don%26#039;t u think there is lots of joy not just at the destintion but also in the path ?
who made who in usa
Don%26#039;t u think there is lots of joy not just at the destintion but also in the path ?
For me, the truth is that I don%26#039;t really care about the path while I%26#039;m going through it, in fact, I find it annoying...But then I get to the destination and start rergretting not making the most of the learning process and getting feelings of nostalgia.

And then I try to learn frorm the experience and enjoy school...Which of course I don%26#039;t. o.O;; It%26#039;s hard.

I want to be in some sort of medical field and live in Japan, but I%26#039;m currently in England and in highschool. Well, let%26#039;s say I get there...And then what?

Jeez, I contradict myself.
Reply:enjoy walking the earth. just serve others and something bigger than yourself, instead of just serving yourself
Reply:Yes i agree to Ur words.
Reply:there is no other time to feel joy than now. if it is %26quot;on the path%26quot; or %26quot;at the goal%26quot;, it is only now. so don%26#039;t sell your present for the future, there is only now.

Reply:Destination may be in this life or in future.

Tread your path without slipping or deviating from your present state.
Reply:Depends on the path. Sometimes the path is fun itself, sometimes it%26#039;s tedious or even terrible.
Reply:hmmm,...well, i don%26#039;t completely agree woth it...

like i want to score very good marks in boards, and i am studying hard for it, but still, somehow, i don%26#039;t just like studying few subjects..like history, bio...

well, but yes, i agree that if we start liking the path, then the destination becomes quite easier...

in the end, good luck to you for your aim!
Reply:Yes dear friend i agree completely agree wid you=]

g00d question yaar
Reply:It really depends, and how U are looking at it, and if this the rightcarrier you are persuing, as for me i wanted to , be a Lawyer so bad, but been the third child, and having a older brother , long time a go where ia%26#039;m from one did not have a choice but to be what one%26#039;s parent wanted one%26#039;s to be, so this is how i became , a Spanish, Teacher, at first it was verry depressing , long early morning hours, but as the time went by, i felt better and the path got easier to handle, and i became joyful, i started to look forward , each day, to complete my every day, task and as i started to go to the class room i saw the look at the childre%26#039;sn faces i said yes, this is where i bellongs. and I loved it ever since, My mom %26amp; stept dad, always wanted me to be a Teacher, because of the love and care, i have shown , towards children%26#039;s, and ia%26#039;m glad ia%26#039;m a Spanish Teacher.... Peace.
Reply:Often the journey is far more important and enjoyable than the destination. For when I get to the destination although there is a lot of enjoyment in the moment there are always more new and exciting paths to discover just around the corner.
Reply:Dear Madhavi,

Even though you are asking about joy /happiness context of the path %26amp; the destination, I would like to address spiritual aspect of it.

Happiness is not else where. It is not in the path nor is it in the destination. It is actually within you and in your mind. However you gamble your life and rely on external things for your happiness. That leads to sadness %26amp; misery.

Before we analyze, we need to understand what happiness is. What is joy? Instead of concentrating on making your own self happy or your life joyful, try to make others happy %26amp; joyful. This would make you happy %26amp; joyful.

There is no end, there is no beginning or there is no path for joy or happiness. It is infinite.

Happiness %26amp; Joy is god personified. It is the elixir (Amruth) of god himself.

With warm regards

Reply:Well yes....

Path is more enjoyable than destination....Only if we see in our real journey too...this thing comes up....it was once when i had to visit a certain place....i was excited very much to reach there...But,truly speaking....i enjoyed the roads and bridges more than what i enjoyed when we reached that place...

Its a great enjoyment always...Path is more beautiful than acheievment....Actually,till i know....what we usually remember is the path and not the achievement...we remember our ups and downs and we also remember happiness that lead us to the real destination:)

Superb Question:)
Reply:I agree.

It%26#039;s tough not working towards something while not liking it versus working towards something while enjoying it. For me, I have a enjoy my studies and aim for more. I guess it%26#039;s important to be optimistic too. Out of this certain optimism, comes the enjoyment for work. The efforts should be enjoyed so that the fruit of the labor is even more ripe and %26quot;tasty.%26quot; The path is the longest. Working while smiling will ensure great happiness at the end of the tunnel. To conclude, it%26#039;s important to smile through the difficulties and think about the laughter at the end. I might have diverted a little from your question. This is just a little side note. ;-)

Great question, by the way. Keep them coming!! =)
